Science and mathematics tutor teaches student of all ages

Teaching, in my opinion, is a noble intellectual endeavor that not only encourages students to pursue new interests but also gives me a chance to learn more about my area of specialization. My enthusiasm for teaching served as the prime motivation behind my move from the industrial to the academic sectors. My undergraduate and graduate courses have given me a strong foundation for my passion for the academia.

I think that a successful student's learning is based on critical thinking, together with a
comprehension of basic physical principles. My teaching philosophy is based on four
principles: (1) establish the big picture of their field of study through course work (2) inspire students to fully grasp the fundamental ideas in science and mathematics; (3) mentor students as they learn to think critically; and (4) prepare students to become independent learners.
In the introductory lectures, I use a top-down approach to explain to the participants where we expect to be at the end of the course and how we intend to get there. Every student learns in a unique way. Some students refer to textbooks, some students need examples, and some students learn best through dialogue. I therefore give the information to accommodate all learning styles. I do not only focus on multimedia but also facilitate discussion with students during online classes.

A study found that the learner only retains 5% of what is said to them and retains 90% of information through dialogue. I carefully personalize the educational activities after first evaluating the pupil. It facilitates the learner in getting a clear understanding of the course. Additionally, I give out weekly quizzes that are meant to enhance critical thinking. To improve our students' mental and physical health, it is important that we have a conversation with parents regarding the progress report. I draw on my wide knowledge of science issues by offering relevant examples from my own research. I focus more on students who need more help in their courses during one-on-one online discussions with them. I prepare my learners for the ever-expanding fields of science and mathematics by using innovative teaching strategies that allow them to develop their own creative thoughts.
