I have a first class bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and am currently studying a masters in Computation Neuroscience, Cognition and AI. I have two years of experience in online tutoring a range of ages, with lots of positive reviews from both students and parents. My aim in tutoring is to give my students an environment where they feel safe to ask any questions about the topic until they truly understand it. For younger pupils (KS1-year 5) we might spend more of our sessions playing educational games, whereas older pupils, especially for GCSEs, will spend more time looking at exam style questions and mark schemes to understand where the marks come from.
