Numeracy and Literacy Support for 5-11 year olds

I'm a graduate of St Mary’s University College Belfast (B.Ed with Specialism in Art and Design). I also hold a Post Graduate Certificate from Queens University Belfast in Communications. With over 20 years’ classroom experience I'm currently serving as a primary school principal.
As school principal I have strived to ensure there is a competent, confident and coherent approach to the teaching of all areas of the curriculum within my school.
I believe that educators today must prepare pupils for the wider world and in doing so provide them with as many real life experiences as possible. I maintain that we must instil a positive, fearless will to succeed in our pupils; the foundations of this attitude must be firmly set within the primary classroom. Positive experiences gained in the primary school will foster an assertiveness towards learning in years to come.
I am a honest, hardworking individual, approachable, outgoing and easy to get on with. As a meticulous, enthusiastic, motivated individual I have the qualities and personality to be successful in achieving goals.
