Maths Tutor for secondary school students

I am an undergraduate student currently studying computer science at the University of Leeds. I gained a lot of experience tutoring whilst completing my A levels when I was selected by my sixth form to tutor students who were struggling at maths. Since then I have been tutoring KS3 and GCSE students for 6 months.

When first meeting a student I like to start off by asking my students which areas they struggling with most and give them a few questions to complete. They cover most topics so I can plan my lessons to have the most benefit. I have recently completed my GCSEs and A levels so I have very up to date information on what questions are most likely to come up in the exams and what topics are included in the exam specification.

Each lesson will follow the plan of starter, next topic and a summary. In the starter I will give the student questions on previous topics covered to ensure they understand what we have already gone over. Then we will move on to the next topic and finally finish with a summary of what has been covered in that lesson.
