Mathematics tutor providing online mathematics classes for students of all ages

I completed my Bachelors with a Major in Mathematics (six units) in 2017 from the Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Quepem, Goa (Goa University) India, securing top three rank in the state. I then completed my Masters of Science in Pure Mathematics at Goa University, in April 2019. A major boost in my career was when I was selected as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics in the reputed Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics in June 2019.

Mathematics has always scared a number of students, and without being pompous I would like to highlight that I have been quite successful in helping students to get rid of the dreaded fear of Mathematics by simply trying innovative and student friendly methods to impart my knowledge and at the same time giving students a brimming chance to explore their abilities.

My search to develop my teaching skills led me to the University Of East Anglia. In order to advance my teaching skills in the field of Mathematics, I decided to pursue it. Hence, I came to Norwich UK this academic year and is in search of part time job as I get along my course. I've been home tutor for 4+ years, teaching kids of age 9+ to being guide to students studying in the university. In India I had also started personal tutoring for students taking competitive exams online and also for students answering board exams.

At my workplace, I've managed Math & Stats courses that included class-based, blended learning and online classes. I've revamped the Math Department learning methodology to be more interactive and engaging. Conducted interactive Bridge courses every semester for pre-requisites of syllabus. Also, Conducted online math component courses for competitive exams- NASSCOM. For students to indulge more into the subject and not run away from it I've also organized Math & Stats fest " EUREKA". My approach has always been exercised activity based teaching sessions.

The branch of Graph Theory and its application has been inspiring and its applications in the modern world have captured my interest. From the concepts of simple arithmetic operations to the most disliked word “obvious”, the challenges involved have always added spice to everyday life. My interest in discrete mathematics has been growing and I am further planning to do my research in the same.
