Advert description
Hi! Daniel is my name, and I am a civil engineering student at the City University of London.
At a high level, I studied Maths, Physics, and Engineering. The Maths skills I learned were one of the reasons I applied to do an engineering course; I adore structures! As an engineering student, I am constantly surrounded by structures, and it fascinates me. My desire to pursue engineering drove me throughout high school and sixth form, and it was then that I learned the value of the notion of hard work.
Despite struggling with learning in my early years of education, I achieved the grades I needed to progress to do my A levels and into university, demonstrating how much you can achieve when you work hard.
To guarantee optimum retention in a live tutoring session, I believe it is beneficial to include all kinds of learning into each assignment we undertake. This includes talking, playing games, illustrating with drawings or photos, and taking notes on the topics we will be discussing. Students will begin to recall and enjoy their tutoring sessions much more if they engage in a variety of revision activities. Measuring progress will be done through both in-tutor assessments and results from class tests; I like to take input from their school teachers into account when measuring a student's growth. Practice, I believe, is the most important thing to encourage in learning since it builds confidence, boosts retention, and improves performance.
Outside of academia, I devote the majority of my time to music and the arts. I currently play the drums and base guitar, dance and even compose routines.
Looking forward to tutoring you!
