Previously a tutor at Professional Tutors and currently a tutor at Fine Tutors specialising in English and Maths for KS2, KS3 11+ and SATs practice. I have over 500+ hours experience of in person and online tuition.

Lesson structure:
We will commence with an overview of all topics in the national curriculum to immediately see which topics the student finds most challenging. Tackling these first will ensure the quickest improvement rate in grades. Each lesson will be focused learning aiming to turn weaknesses into strengths. Students can also bring forth certain topics they wish to work on.

I will warmly begin by introducing the topic with videos, examples, and PowerPoints whilst regularly testing the student’s knowledge. Once confidence begins to build, we will transition to more complex examples, questions and quizzes. For 11+ and SATs students, we will be using exam-style questions and previous assessments to help your child build the confidence they need for the official assessments. Once the student and I are happy with the topic, we will proceed with the same approach for a new topic.
