Advert description
I have always adopted a friendly attitude with my students (no matter the age), always trying to keep them interested and active. In fact, I believe in tutoring because it is a way to learn differently than in school for instance, and to take the time to understand and succeed in whatever was challenging us. For example, in a conversation class the object of the lesson would be a Gainsbourg song. First of all, the student and the teacher would read it, being careful of the pronunciation. Then, make the student resume what he understood of the song, in French. And after, maybe translate the document, little by little, doing short recaps of some grammar rule (and then talk about it more in-depth at the next lesson), and pointing at him all the "french expression", maybe their history, so he can actively learn about them. Finally, both student and teacher will talk about the song it itself, trying to underline its political or poetical content.
