I teach English as foreign language and prepare students for professional exams

I am a qualified native British school teacher, with over twelve years experience teaching, initially in British school classrooms, and then 1:1 at home, and now with over six years online English teaching. I am passionate about teaching and particularly teaching English language and pronunciation. I also love learning about new cultures and meeting new students from different cultures and backgrounds, of different ages and abilities and helping them on their learning journey and to achieve their personal goals .
I am an enthusiastic, creative and approachable teacher who truly understands how to make language teaching accessible, fun and relevant, as I myself have experienced learning a language, living and working abroad and the difficulties students have to face. Having worked in Marketing and Project management before my career in teaching, I can also offer students my business experience, knowledge and working in teams. I pride myself on the creativity and the energy I put into my classes and I prioritise building student’s confidence and motivation . I feel that these are the reasons that I have had so many students booking again and repeat business. I tailor classes to individual student needs and always put them at ease and build confidence which is essential when developing language skills. I use up to date material drawn form a range of sources such as newspapers online and documentaries and even pop songs so that students learn in a modern, vibrant and relevant way underpinned with grammar instructions and targeted grammar exercises.
