English Language + Literature tutor based in Edinburgh

I am an English language and literature teacher, as well as a published writer based in Edinburgh.

I have over 5 years teaching English as a foreign language and over a years experience of tutoring Literature to students preparing for their GCSEs and Highers. I predominantly teach online but am happy to meet in a café in the city of Edinburgh.

I am here to take away any fears or concerns you have about language or literature. I will help you break down things so you can feel confident to address them.

In 2021 I won a New Writers Award from Scottish Book Trust. empire of dirt, my debut poetry pamphlet, was published by Red Squirrel Press in 2019. Based on a true story, my second pamphlet, will be published in November 2022 by fourteen poems.

My work has been published in Poetry Wales, Butcher’s Dog, fourteen poems, Best Scottish Poems 2019, The Amsterdam Quarterly, And Other Poems, The Glasgow Review of Books, The Stockholm Review of Literature, among others.
