Qualified English teacher with KS3, GCSE and A level teaching and tutoring experience

I am a qualified and experienced secondary school English teacher with a PGCE from the University of Oxford. I have taught across all years, so am experienced with Key Stage 3, GCSE, A level. I have a strong understanding of the assessment objectives for GCSE and A level exams and have a proven track record at helping students exceed target grades - and expectations - in their final results.

I have also had a great deal of experience with students with SEN needs and those who speak English as an additional language, providing flexible and appropriately challenging lessons for students who require personalised provision. I had taught specialised English intervention small group classes for Key Stage 3 and 4 students, as well as offering 1:1 tuition, both in schools and privately.

Through my work as a Key Stage 2 SAT tutor, I am also experienced in supporting primary school students with literacy and creative writing.
