I give affordable english lessons for GCSE English language and literature

I believe that, once basic knowledge is secure, students obtain the greatest benefits from perfecting essay skills, looking at exam questions, and closely analysing literature. A typical lesson with me would involve clear, in depth instructions to improve your written work. I am happy to do both online and in-person tutoring, for online lessons I use online platforms to allow for discussion, giving detailed feedback and as much guidance that would be available in a classroom. I understand that English may not come as an easy subject for some students, and I take pride in helping students overcome what could possibly be a slight fear of error and criticism; I'm here to help and I would never want anyone to feel like they couldn't ask for it. In my eyes there's no wrong answer when studying English. I focus on achieving substantial progress in my sessions to motivate students and build their confidence, also helping them become more independent.
