English tutor for year 7 - year 11

I am currently an undergraduate student in SOAS studying Politics and International Relations. I studied English for GCSEs and A-Level and achieved a 9 and A respectively.

I have worked as a tutor for more than a year and encourage students to try and find a specific learning style that suits them best for revision. In my lessons the student and I go through exam techniques and skills needed for exam style questions which focus on language and structure analysis.

I myself did not enjoy the English subject in my early years of secondary school which then changed after a teacher managed to change my attitude after helping me through my specific learning style. This is what I aim to do with my students and so far have received positive comments by many parents about my success.

I provide a detailed report after each lesson which includes lesson content along which areas where improvement is required.
