English tutor. Teaches to all age groups

I am passionate about my subject and always endeavor to pass that enthusiasm on to my students. I enjoy working with children and young people, both in my profession and as a volunteer, supporting young people in care.
I specialize in working with students who have Special Educational Needs, such as dyslexia, autism and hearing impairment. I am proud that I have helped many children and young people to achieve more than they believed possible.
I am a good listener and encourage students to express any worries or anxieties they may have about their education. I know that the recent lockdowns have caused many children and young people to lose their confidence and motivation, and I can help them to rebuild their skills and to be the best that they can be. Teaching from my own home allows me to create a calm, relaxed atmosphere and an environment which facilitates learning.
