How are you? My name is Micaela. I am a passionate Argentinian English teacher, with a hobby that I use as a tool in my classes: editing. You will always see me with a colorful hand-made presentation, lists, and conceptual charts. With empathy, attention to detail, and creativity, I prepare each class to make it 100% aligned with your goals, and whenever I can, I will share a #funfact that will help you continue improving your English.
I have been teaching English for almost 3 years now, to students of all levels and ages. I am certified with the First Certificate in English (FCE) and the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), both of which are Cambridge exams from a university in England. I have worked with children and teenagers at an English institute, provided school support classes, and currently, I am working with adults, young adults, teenagers, and children in online academies 🫡. Additionally, I have prepared several students for the First Certificate (FCE) and TOEIC exams with successful results.
In all my classes, I offer a DYNAMIC and PERSONALIZED approach to learning, where we will work on breaking down all the obstacles, both real and mental, that you may encounter in the process of learning this beautiful language. We will analyze videos, series, movie clips, and songs of your choice 🎞️; we will work through games and activities presented with colors, drawings, arrows, conceptual charts, and more. All of this with the primary goal that you not only learn grammar, vocabulary, conversation, pronunciation, and comprehension but also have fun and can implement English in all your areas of interest.
Furthermore, in all my classes, I set aside a few minutes to dedicate 100% to conversational practice since it is often the skill where all the knowledge learned is put into practice and also the one that some people fear the most. However, there is nothing to fear here!! 💪 Because class by class, I will provide you with all the tips, digital resources, and tools necessary for you to improve minute by minute and leave my classes motivated to continue learning and practicing both in class and individually. Also, remember that we learn from our mistakes, and starting and trying again can lead you to your greatest achievements 😜.
