English Literature was always my favourite subject in school, despite my love-hate relationship with Shakespeare. Even though I am currently a third year Architecture student, I’ve started tutoring GCSE English Literature and English Language one-on-one since my first year at university. I’ve done both online and in-person teaching.
During my years of experience, I have created a large bank of online lessons and note sheets I’ve prepared and designed with a close connection to the syllabus, and achievable steps to reach the student’s target grade (up to A*s). The resources I provide in each lesson will concisely organise the content, allowing the student to purely focus on understanding and progressing through the material, rather than wasting time on note taking or presentation. I aim to keep my lessons varied, using any revision method the student prefers, whether it be mind-mapping, picture drawing, annotating or acting it out (never before requested).
