English mainstream and special needs tutor

I am a positive role model and ambassador to the children and young people that I support. I am very passionate about working with students. I am ambitious, committed and motivated to help my students succeed . I have a positive mindset I am a great active listener, I am calm and patient with my students.

I find it incredibly rewarding to see my students grow and develop.
I always strive to deliver the best of my ability for the pupils that I support. I believe that I can bring the best out of the students that I work with.

I work full time as a supply teacher supports all curriculum subjects but more so Maths & English for the most part. I am also a mentor, progress coach and Additional Learning Support to key stages 1-4. I work with children and young people of all ages mainstream and with Special Needs including Dylexia, Autism, ASD and behavioural needs.

My Skills and training include Occupational Therapy, phonetics, perceptual literacy, lego therapy and also social skills interventions.

Outside of my full time teaching job I run my own business supporting in Maths and English to key stages 1 - key stage 4 and I mentor young people aiding their self esteem and supporting with cvs, letters, emails, interview techniques and more.


I have also been a mentor at a charity called Tomorrows People. I was involved in a variety of projects and workshops such as Business Admin, First Aid, CV Tailoring, Public Speaking, ICT, Interview Techniques with young people aged 16-25. The aim of the programme was to encourage young people to find their purpose in life, develop their current skills and increase their personal progression.
