Highly experienced native English-speaking tutor with a successful track record helping students prepare for and pass internationally recognised English language proficiency exams

I am an experienced, committed, and passionate English Second Language teacher with proven success in helping second language learners from all over the world achieve English language proficiency. I am a native English speaker living in Brighton in England. I was born in South Africa but having lived and worked in the UK for decades, I have a clear neutral British English accent which is very popular with learners. I have also achieved a C1 level of German proficiency and my experience as a second language learner is invaluable in helping me understand how to learn – and therefore teach – languages. I have helped adult students prepare for and pass various internationally recognised language proficiency tests such as the suite of Cambridge English qualifications including the First Certificate in English (B2), B2 Vantage for Business, C1 proficiency etc., as well as the IELTS and TOEFL exams. I also teach children, specifically in China, preparing them for Cambridge qualifications such as A2 Key for Schools and B2 First for Schools.
