I am an experienced online teacher with over 12 years of teaching experience. I have taught English at a range of levels however I have particular experience in teaching Business English and English for specific careers e.g. Nursing

I tend to approach the lesson taking steps such as: 1. Assess the needs of the student and his or her current level. If appropriate, to take a competency test. 2. Prepare a lesson plan which may include specific chosen illustrative material, exercises, and sometimes audio or visual aids. 3. Teach in a fun, enthusiastic way that engages the student as much as possible. 4. At the end of the lesson to do a recap, and plan for the direction of the next lesson. 5. Ask the student if he or she has any questions. These are the basics, but I am flexible and tailor my approach as we go along.
