Zoom Drum Lessons. Hi there, I have been teaching drums for the best part of 12years. I teach both privately and was at Glenthorne High School in Sutton for 5 years up until this year.
I also work professionally and teach to Grade 8, both in Trinity Rock and Pop and Rock school.

I teach students of all levels. I have also taught students with learning difficulties, mainly
ADHD, autism and dyspraxia. I tailor each lesson based on the individuals learning ability,
similar to the montessori teaching method. I only push when I feel my students are genuinely not making as much effort as they can.

I have a passion for teaching and drums and will advise if I feel that my student is not making the efforts, I will try and incorporate other things to see what will spark or inspire them to practice and progress. Practice can be an arduous task but I have devised a method that motivates my students. If I have exhausted all my resources and your child is not showing any interest I will advise to save your money for things that will interest them.

I've been playing/teaching professionally for the best part of 12 years now. I still have the same passion for this instrument as I did when I first started. I really try and implement this into the personalities of all my students as transferable life skill.

My main style is funk and anything groove based. I also have my own wedding events bands
FuNk DeLiGhT and FuNk ThE ReVoLuTiOn BaNd. I do online recording sessions for artists and producers via my website and youtube channel (Google Andy Christo Drums).

I also offer pre recorded drum loops of hip hop beats and various breakbeats. This is also a bespoke service that can be tailored to the client .
