Advert description
English tutor, studied in one of the worlds top fashion universities, and worked in some of the finest couturiers.
LESSONS:
I usually work in 1 hour time slots, but this can be altered to suit the individual.
I like to do a varied approach to teaching, to explore all areas of a subject. I find this keeps the student more interested as everything in constantly fresh and new.
I am very thorough with my teaching, e.g. I will explore the entire history of a specific art movement, we will then do specialised technique lessons, to perfect the individual techniques necessary. Then create final versions of that specific movement.
BACKGROUND:
I have substantial professional experience working as a creative tutor and conduct myself with the uttermost professionalism, confidentiality and presentation.
I am a highly educated and knowledgeable individual. I was accepted into one of the world's top universities (University of the Arts London), where I graduated with a first. As well as achieving 10+ A*-B GCSE, a 1st at college, and multiple other graduated courses. I have a vast interest in art and design.
I have recently tutored a little girl on the subject of art and design. I evaluated her skill and taught her the very basics advancing to more challenging skills. I aimed to explore as much of art history, and exploration of different mediums (graphics, textile, fabric, paint, pencil etc). I was employed to improve the child's skills so that she would be considered for an exclusive private school. The school required a child to show incredible talent in a chosen subject (art) - she has just been enrolled to start this September.
I have particular skills in:
Art (multi-media drawing, digital drawing, multi-media painting), graphic design (A* GCSE), Design - interior and fashion (1st BA (hows), Sewing, Pattern cutting, Embroidery, Weaving, Music (particularly in producing), Film and Photography, art history.
I adore teaching and nurturing their existing interests and talents to help make them become highly skilled individuals with a passion for the subject. I find that children respond well to ‘humanness’ to be treated with respect, motivation and care to yield the best possible results. Each person is different and responds to a unique set of teaching and communication.
