Tutor: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Spanish, English as a Foreign Language
Advert description
I have a Bachelor's degree in chemistry with a biochemistry focus. I have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have taught secondary school science (chemistry, biology, and physics) to KS3 and GCSE for a year.
Eleven years ago, I reached a fluent level of Spanish from living in Costa Rica and went on to study Spanish at the university level during which I lived and attended university in Ecuador for 6 months. I am in the process of completing a TEFL level 3 qualification and feel confident that I could tutor English as a second language.
I currently work as a secondary school classroom assistant helping students 1 to 1. This will be my first paid tutoring role, but I have been a teaching assistant and a volunteer tutor for peers on multiple occasions. As a qualified teacher, I have the skills and experience to help you achieve your goals within each of the subjects above.
I also have 15 years of experience playing the violin if anyone is interested in casual violin lessons.
I can offer online sessions and may be able to offer in-person sessions depending on proximity. I am an enthusiastic, patient and clear teacher who strives to find the best way to explain each concept so it can be remembered more easily. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
