Advert description
Born and raised in China, I completed both the Zhongkao (similar to GCSE) and Gaokao (smilar to A-Level) examinations, performing exceptionally well in Chinese. Specifically, I scored more than 130 out of 150 in Chinese for the Zhongkao exam and 121 out of 150 in the Gaokao exam. These examinations required deep linguistic comprehension and mastery of Chinese literature and cultural references, thus providing me with the foundational knowledge needed for this position. I achieved A-Level Economics of A* and I am currently a BSc Economics student at UCL.
While studying Economics at UCL, I have continually honed my ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and understandable way, a skill set that would translate well into tutoring. Moreover, my academic background has endowed me with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, allowing me to adapt my teaching methods to fit the unique needs of each student.
I have a previous Teaching Assistant experience, I have frequently assisted the students in understanding difficult economic concepts, making me confident in my ability to guide students effectively in their academic pursuits. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to utilise my proficiency in Chinese to facilitate language learning for your students.
