Chinese language tutor for all levels and ages

I am a teacher, researcher and author.

I am originally from Guangzhou (Canton), and both Mandarin and Cantonese are my mother tongue. I was trained as an English language teacher in South China Normal University （华南师范大学）and then came to the UK in 2001 to continue my study. I gained my PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Nottingham.

I started teaching Chinese language while I was studying and have over 20 years of Chinese language teaching experience in the UK. I once lectured in the University of Nottingham, New College Nottingham and Leicester Adult Learning Centre, and I have taught in various schools both in China and the UK. I have given a great deal of private tutorials in Advanced Chinese and Business Chinese language in the UK too.


I am an author of three books: Behaviour Bank, Wisdom Age and The Soul Journey in the Kingdom of Roses. I also write for Yang Cheng Evenings（羊城晚报）, which is one of China’s most popular and reputable newspapers. My articles can be found in several other Chinese magazines and newspapers too.
