- To learn French or even any language you absolutely need to have a vocabulary base. It is thanks to this that sentences can be built, whether in writing, speaking, understanding or listening. Also, it is best to learn vocabulary with the appropriate gender of words. In French there are genders and many pronouns. But don't panic, you have to go step by step and that's how the sentences become more and more meaningful.
- It is also important to focus first and foremost on the most used tenses. We tend to focus too much on the more complicated tenses and those that are not commonly used. Of course, listening to films in French can help but I don't think it's useful because the information passes too quickly in the film and you get tired of trying to understand. It's better to listen to the news for example because it's by theme and the vocabulary will be more precise and better used. In French we will talk about grammar, spelling, conjugation and vocabulary and all this little by little.
- Understanding French allows you to open up to the world, this language is spoken in Switzerland, Canada, Belgium, on islands such as Reunion, French Polynesia and in many other French departments in America. Pronunciation in French is also very important - practising regularly and talking about what you like can be a great advantage. It is also very different from English, every syllable is pronounced except in colloquial language of course.
I hope you will enjoy learning French !
