A passionate teacher with a master's degree in education

Hello, My name is Sumei.

I have a strong background in education with a master's degree in education from the University of Edinburgh. Over the past few years, I have gained valuable experience in teaching English as a second language to Chinese students, working as a kindergarten teacher in the UK , and tutoring young children within my extended family for seven years.

Teaching is my true passion, and I strive to create an engaging and enjoyable learning environment for my students. I believe in incorporating various interactive elements such as songs and games into my lessons to keep my students motivated and interested. By using different tones and expressions, I capture the attention and curiosity of children, making the learning process more exciting for them.

One of the ways I make learning fun is by designing activities that are both entertaining and educational. For example, when teaching about pond animals, I create a mini pond using a water tray and include toy animals, butterflies, and leaves. This hands-on approach allows my students to actively participate and have fun while learning.

I take pride in being a patient and enthusiastic teacher who values each student's individual progress. Seeing my students enjoy themselves and make significant strides in their learning journey brings me great joy and satisfaction.
