English Tutor (GCSEs and as a foreign language)

I am currently a student doing a degree in Education/a certificate in teaching English as a foreign language. I use presentations, exam past papers, grammar resources, whiteboards and homework.

The way that I teach is purely based on respect and belief. Beforehand I ask that the student does the VARK test which tells me what kind of learner they are. Every lesson is taught based on the students needs and this helps me understand how they learn.

I have taught English GCSE literature lessons on poetry annotations. I achieved A*s in my English GCSEs and know the proper terminology and techniques to be able to pass English GCSEs. I have taught a student who went from a U to a B during his GCSE retakes.
