I have experience in primary schools whilst volunteering in 2016 at a local primary school. This helped develop a supportive and trustworthy relationship with children, working alongside teachers to deliver aims and objectives. Additionally, in my previous role as a Police Community Support Officer working in the Neighbourhood team, I and another colleague worked with a group of students in year 6 conducting the 'Mini Police' which involved teaching lessons around staying safe online, water safety and Anti-Social behaviour. This spanned from the start of the academic year in September to graduation in May. I am therefore familiar with working with a focused group of children, as well as one-to-one sessions.
