In my opinion the best way to teach mathematics to someone is Explain the concept thoroughly. Give one or two live examples. Practice Give students made up real life questions, if they solve them properly by applying the concept. Your job is done. If students can apply mathematics to real life problems then that means they have understood the concept properly.
