Advert description
I trained under the supervision of the Nobel laureate Ben Feringa (2016) at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. I taught (synthetic) organic chemistry there. Next to that, I'm a qualified A-level / 6th form teacher in chemistry and informatics. I have over 20 years of teaching experience. Been there, done that, there are no more secrets for me...

What's the difficulty with chemistry? Chemistry knowledge is built up layer by layer, so you will gradually increase your mastery of the subject. At least, that's the theory. In practice, however, I see pupils and students stumble from one subject to the next, lacking the minimal skills and knowlege necessary to succesfully master the new material. Unless you fix the deficiencies in your knowledge and skill set, you're doomed...
You are actually engaged in fighting a war on two fronts. On the first front, you have to do some repair work in relation to the material you should have mastered some time ago. On the second front, you have to keep up with the new information that is presented to you. This is very difficult! The good news is that these problems really can be fixed by using an integrated approach. If you are prepared to invest some time in the exercises that I will hand out to you, I promise you will be back on track in a few weeks.
