Advert description
I have a honours degree in Law, achieved in 2023. My strong subjects are Competition Law, Property Law, Legal Philosophy, Employment Law, Human Rights Law, Intellectual Property Law and The Law Dissertation. Although these are my preferred subjects I am more than happy to teach all subjects associated with a Law degree.
I completed a first class Law Honours Dissertation in 2023 on the subject of children’s privacy rights and employment rights. This has given me valuable knowledge of the perfect formula needed to complete course work to a first class standard. I am confident that any student working with me will finish their session not only with a understanding of their subject, but more importantly how to communicate this understanding in any coursework or exams they are undertaking.
I pride myself in being a people person, and I believe that my relaxed approach allows students to feel at ease and comfortable. I believe this is the best approach as this is when students can learn at their full capacity. This relaxed approach also creates a judgement free session, facilitating open discussion about the areas that the student wishes to work on. I am an open minded individual and I believe that this will allow students to engage in deep level learning aided by my knowledge and guidance.
I have excellent written skills and can provide tuition on how to complete first class coursework. I have also received first class results on oral presentations and I am confident I can work with students to advise them on the content of such presentations but also the manner in which they should be given in order to achieve first class results.
I have experience mentoring students in sport and although this is not experience in academics, it has given me valuable insight into how different people learn at their best and it has taught me the skills needed to bring out the best in individuals wishing to engage in further learning.
I also have experience in leadership roles, such as being head girl and president of a society at my university. These roles have given me the ability to take initiative where it needs to be taken and I believe this has given me the skills needed to lead a person in their learning and recognise where their strengths are, and where they need assistance.
