i enjoy teaching both my younger sisters maths at their own level. I privately tutored the elder of the two, being in year 7, who I helped achieve full marks in her SATs mathematics exam. She also completed the 11+ exam to secure a place in Woodford county with me being her only source of extra maths learning.
Becoming a maths tutor is not simply about imparting formulas and solutions for me, it's more about
fostering confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in my students. I yearn to inspire
curiosity and unlock the potential within each of you and witness your eyes light up as you finally
understand and implement a concept successfully.
I believe you will be able to relate to my humorous personality which will create a fun and effective learning session as it will be enjoyable, allowing you to look forward to our lessons and learn effectively. Teachers in school may sometimes seem like robots to you but i have always found myself to take in information better when i am in a comfortable, pleasant and interactive environment rather than words and numbers being thrown at me like dodgeball.
Considering me being 20 years old, yes it is still young do not mock me, i would like to think i know what students your age find entertaining in a lesson and i believe my angle on maths problems and solutions provide that. I have spent years learning the best and simplest methods for every topic most of which were not taught in school from my personal experience which i can pass onto you if you choose me as your tutor.
