I am a fully qualified TEFL tutor who has a vast amount of experience and I have worked at Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield and Doncaster College. I have taught students from a diverse range of countries to pass their Trinity or City and Guilds courses with a 100% pass rate. At Leeds one of my students became the TEFL student of the year for the Yorkshire area and received a trophy and prize money for this. I teach now at a community centre, achieving success for students passing their A1, A2 and B1 at Trinity College.
I use slide shows and animated dialogues for the lessons online. I have 27 years experience of TEFL tutoring. I always evaluate my students at the beginning with diagnostic and initial assessment but I always want the students to be involved in how they feel things could be improved. Learning English should be fun and if it is just that with useful resources then the improvements in each students language is immense. Learning a foreign language as an Adult is very different to learning as a child, as our brains are not naturally disposed to learn languages later. Through using animations, music in the background, especially classical and a lot of visual resources , it makes it much easier.
