Lessons will be 1 hour long, and will be divided into small sections. These include: speaking, listening, reading and writing. I will particularly focus on what you're struggling with and what you need to improve, so each lesson will have personalised elements to provide you the help you require :)
I will use a range of different types of content to teach English as a foreign language.
The type of content will vary from PowerPoint presentations to explain grammar, to short clips and videos to practice listening and understanding.
To practice reading and to expand the student's vocabulary short book passages will be used and understanding will be assessed using a series of short questions.
Speaking will be practiced on a daily basis by using new phrases everyday.
New words will be introduced everyday to widen the student's vocabulary, and the task will be to formulate meaningful sentences with the new words, which then will be incorporated in everyday vocabulary to ensure that information is stored in long term memory.
At the end of each lesson there will be a small reflection talk on what was taught and if more practice and revision is needed for the student to improve.
At the end of each lesson you'll feel more confident and comfortable with speaking English :) and I'll ensure to provide you with good revision materials for when you're not able to attend any lessons, so you can always practice and improve cause practice makes perfect :)
