Structure of sessions are tailored to each student. Prior to each session, students will provide me with a list of topics or areas they do not feel confident in and what they hope to achieve in that session. We will go through the list together and arrange time and priority for each topic. Students are also welcome to bring along any homework they may require help in understanding.

Reading sessions are also available for younger students to discuss stories together and general understanding of vocabulary.

For older students, essay feedback sessions are available whereby feedback will be provided in line with the student's marking criteria.

Poetry analysis for English Literature students involves going through a poem or extract that is on the student's current exam syllabus / curriculum and breaking it down together (e.g. 'Of Mice and Men' and 'The Great Gatsby'). The most commonly used form of poetry analysis is 'PEA' (and other similar variations).

For Law students at degree level - essay writing feedback, dissertation research feedback and OSCOLA referencing sessions available. Areas include: Criminal law, Civil law, Company law, Tort law, International law, International Human Rights law.
