I used to run a company which was an English Language School. I had been teaching for 6 years before getting married. I got married and came to London around 5 years ago. I got my British passport ,and I am moving back to Turkey at the end of July to live there.
I am a passionate Teacher who loves her profession. I want my learners to gain their confidence and improve their foreign language both in writing and verbally by using different methods and techniques in teaching. I want my students learn their second (foreign) language in a natural way by using real tasks and authentic materials. I use technology to combine my lesson with audio and visual videos and try to prepare my lesson as a student-centered approach that tailors instruction to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual learner.
I have a lot of experiences to teach second language to the learners in different ways and by using different techniques during the lesson ( pre , while, post) .
This journey of teaching ESL is not merely about helping students acquire a new language, it involves fostering cross-cultural understanding, building confidence and empowering learners to express themselves in a new linguistic landscape. It also highlights the significance of adaptability and innovation in teaching methods, as educators must continually evolve their strategies to meet the ever-changing needs of their students. It is a journey of mutual growth, where teachers (us) and students alike discover new perspectives and broaden their horizons.
