Hi!
A typical lesson from me is like this: We'll start with a question related to the area of law to come back to later. Then, we will go through the area of law, where you will be free to ask as many questions as you need to fully understand it. After this, we'll delve deeper into the issues surrounding the area of law, and depending on the level at which you need to be working to, we will look at analysis/critical analysis that can be done to ensure high marks. At the end of our session, we will come back to the question asked at the start and go over it, looking for the answer and how you should be writing it for the most marks - most of the time these are past paper questions and are extremely beneficial when practiced repeatedly.
I like to ensure that you are pushing yourself to your full potential, and will often ask 'why' or for you to elaborate your point further (depending on your level, this will go further as I will ask you to back up your point). This is something that my law tutors did with me that allowed me to get a first.
We will go through different reading materials and extra reading, as well as set tasks that will help you get to where you want to be. Extra time can be spent on the areas that you are struggling with the most as well as extra revision lessons in time for exam season.
