Our lessons will be pretty chill, I would discuss the topics and engage with students. I'd have a PowerPoint that we can go through together. I also aim to get students involved in the lessons. If you were a Roman Legate (general), how would you take this Hill Fort? Who would you pick as King Alexander III's successor? If you were Hernan Cortez, how would you try to take Mexico? If you were a Roman Legate (general), how would you take this Hill Fort? Who would you pick as King Alexander III's successor? If you were Hernan Cortez, how would you try to take Mexico? How would you try to prevent the Russian Revolutions of 1917?
I love history, and I want this to come across in my lessons (just ask my wife, I could talk your ear off!) My personal favourite historical subjects are; Rome, Classical Greece, Mesopotamia, MesoAmerica, Scottish History, The Iron Age, The Bronze Age, etc. Outside of history, I love geography, politics, languages, and religions. I hope I can bring these other subject areas into my lessons, as the Curriculum For Exilence shows we should incorporate other areas of the curriculum into each other.
Remember, there are no wrong answers and no stupid questions. I am patient when it comes to a person's learning and will go at your own speed and pace to ensure that you learn as much as possible from our lessons.
In terms of my own education, I have an NC in Social Science and am currently working towards an HNC in Childhood Practice. I feel these qualifications will definitely help in providing informative and (I hope) fun lessons for all age groups.
I hope to hear from you soon!
