As a passionate educator, I’ve been teaching students of all ages for more than 4 years. Having finished my degree here in the UK in English language and Literature, I am qualified to exercise my skills and pair my knowledge with the enthusiasm I have in teaching English. I strive to help individuals feel more comfortable and confident in speaking English regardless of their level, encouraging them to thrive and become capable English speakers and proficient readers.
Within my degree, I undertook grammar/ Lexis classes in linguistics and read a variety of ancient texts and Middle English novels that shaped the English language itself. Thus, I became familiar with the the importance of word origination, how word meanings have changed and the history of the English language that might confused those who don’t speak English as a first language.
As an Arabic speaker, I understand the lack of confidence that often accommodates is when we switch to speaking a language that we are not too comfortable with. Thus, I seek to help individuals replace that anxiety with confidence, motivating them to become the best version of themselves through grasping and utilising the English language itself - both verbally and through written methods.
Something I usually cover are syntax improvements, exam/ interview preparations, grammar building, vocabulary strengthening and confidence in English in general.
